The EBAY Nightmare Files.....

Hmmm which to choose- which  to choose? Aww heck let me start with the most recent three.

Case #1- Buyer gets all this for the whopping price of 14.99 plus 5.?? in shipping. A fully working Palm 71 plus bag, 2 charges, and more. So, you would think great right? NOPE here is what follows..... AFTER 2 weeks of not paying I get a email asking if I could "please cancel the transaction due to THEM having financial difficulties".  I politely accept and open the case, I begin using it again for about two weeks AS they NEVER answer the case. THEN THEY PAY FOR IT!!  OKAY fine, pack it up and get ready to send it.

Now, you would think it was a done deal- you would be wrong....We go through the can you put this packing slip here and address it there crap. I explain he will need to download the manual so that he can learn how to use it.  Then off it goes.... A few days later I get a message saying that the old password is still associated with it... My reply is hit the "reset" button and download the manual (I even offer the sites where I had to do the same)

Next email from them "Where is the "reset" button"? My reply again is download the manual so you can learn how to operate it. But yet tell him how to reset it.

I recieve another email asking how to operate it. At this point I have done all I can do-I told them what to do and where things were, I gave websites for the manual, etc. SO I ignore this message because I am not going to answer what I already have more than once.

Skip ahead to today (this sold on the 27th of last month) and HE opens a case against me stating that I sold an item that was NOT as described

WHAT THE HECK!!??!! Some idiot refuses to download the manual and now I have to pay the price..

Case #2

A set of 7 Junie B. Jones books - These were in excellent condition BUT the buyer decided if you held it up to the light in just a certain way- there were some *gasp* small indentations in some spots of the covers. And the hardcover had a bit of a "bumping" at the top of the spine where there was excess coardboard.

Ack! Are you kidding me? They bid 8.99 and had free shipping. So I told them to send them back AND I LOSE return shipping because that WAS what my store offered.

Case #3

This was for a Fisher Price Tuff Stuff Voice Changer, Tape Recorder with microphone . Sold for 12.50 plus 7.50 shipping. It worked all the way up until it was packed....ANYHOW this is the email I recieved TODAY as well... Remeber I said it was USED I even explained how my sons loved playing with it in the FIRST line of the description!

"I received your tape recorder thinking I was receiving an item in perfect condition. I have a 28 year old special needs adult who I ordered this for. Your store is the only place I could find this at this price. My son has gone through several of these over the years and I was excited to see you had yours listed at such a low price"

FINE WHATEVER- HOW MANY HAS HER SON BROKE??????...... I nicely told her to send it back at another loss because I had yet to change my store policy. I have yet, to hear back from her.

Please tell me I am not the only one that has to deal with these kinds of people..... Let me know so I can feel better.

A LONG Overdue Review!!! Costume SuperCenter.com

I hate that this is so long overdue, I hope all can forgive me. This particular review was the most enjoyable for me! I was able to take pictures of my youngest boy on his first Trick-or-Treating excursion. It was an ordeal let me just state for the record.

Costume SuperCenter was kind enough to send a fantastic and unique (my son had the only one seen around our neck of the woods) Turtle costume. Here is the picture from the website and so you can get the full view of the costume as it should be before I share my pictures.

Is this not the CUTEST!!!

Now this is the costume I ended up choosing after hours and hours of debating, the site is full of GREAT items. I loved so many of them.

So, now onto our pictures of "Cheeky Monkey" becoming the Turtle!

"Your gonna try to put WHAT on my head? I don't think so!
Good Luck Mom!!"

"Nope, not happening! Not my head and not my hands!"

"Okay, I will think about it for a while."

"After some thinking, No way Now how MOM!"

"I am gonna sit here and read until you give in, Mom"
Accept it, I am not wearing the rest"

"See, I am a turtle of my word"

"HA! HA! I half WIN!!!!
Lets go get treats!!"

As you can see we had to compromise in the end. The hand mitten came off shortly after walking out the door.

This costume is a Infant/Toddler size and hopefully he can wear it fully next year. The turtle costume is quoted on the website as

"precious little Turtle Costume for infants and toddlers. This adorable getup includes a light plush fully screen printed jumpsuit with details gloves and feet. It also has a detailed detachable hood with realistic eyes.

This is the perfect costume for a little one to wear at a Halloween party - where he/she is for sure to win best baby costume, or for an initial round of tricks and treats in the neighborhood.

Once the neighbors get a good look at the littlest turtle they'll be dishing out extra candy in a snap! The plush jumpsuit is available in small medium and large and runs close to size.

You'd better be ready with the pictures because once friends and family get a look at your little Turtle, they are going to be demanding photos for the family albums"

I must say this was a huge hit at every door we knocked on and every ghoul we passed on the street. I love that the feet have elastic bands that can go over the feet and hidden away, so the turtle foot lays on top of shoes/boots. Like I said before the hood and gloves were a no go with "Cheeky" but they are very easy to slip on. The hood is has velcro that enclosed underneath the chin.

Costume SuperCenter has many things available for all year round and for any occasion. They have wigs & hats, teen costumes, pet costumes and even accessories. There is so much that I could not begin to name it all.

I would like to thank Costume SuperCenter for giving me some FANTASTIC memories and great pictures. They made it possible to have a fun time with my youngest on his first time out on Halloween.

You can follow Costume SuperCenter on Facebook and on Twitter.

Needed to take a much longer break.....

then I thought I needed. Things around here have been go-go-go and family comes before blog. So, this will/might be slow going, getting back into the swing of things.

One new thing is that I have opened a store on E-bay, trying to bring in extra income for our family. It has been a bunch of work getting it up and running BUT it is going fairly well.

My store (opps I mean our family store)  All For The Family is open and ready for business!!!!!
Which allows me to get back to blogging, sharing, and finding great deals!

If you find some time, please stop by the store and let me know what i could do to make things better! I need all the help I can get!

Now, I will begin the blogging on some things.
