This is one of two books that I received to review. Being that this is my first ever review post I am sure I will be a bit bad at it. So bare with me here.
This book was inspiring to me, Max Lucado was able to use simple ideas and terms to get us to think about getting back to Christianity. I like the stories that he uses to bring his points to the forefront. The common thought throughout this wonderful book is about what every Christian needs to read and implement in their lives.
I believe this would be a great book for our teen group at church to read, which is what I am planning to do in the next few months. With the holidays coming up I can not think of a better way to teaching the idea of getting involved to help others. The fact that you do not need to be rich or that it does not take much time or effort to do good things for others in need, is a lesson everyone should learn and take action to. One great feature in this book is at the end is a discussion and action guide which goes chapter by chapter.
This book will inspire and motivate you to live your faith. I hope that everyone will come out with the same thoughts after reading this book. And put action in their own lives to do God's work. I am sure this will be a book that I re-read often to renew my inspiration.
