Book Review: The Dragon And the Turtle

The Dragon and the Turtle, an imaginative story, written by Donita K. Paul and Evangeline Denmark (illustrated by Vincent Nguyen), is a wonderful read for children. This is a story about friendship….a story of sacrifice and loyalty and perseverance, when it comes to friendship.

Product Description

My View

I loved this book nd really enjoyed reading it to my children. I always have a fondness for books that teach wholesome lessons, which this book surely does. The illustrations in the book were adorable and really kept even my youngest (3 month old) attention. We enjoyed the discussion subjects at the end of the book. Which is a great way to keep all kids engaged and learning.

The recipe at for Chocolate Chip Snappers kept the whole idea alive throughout the afternoon, as my kids made the cookies they continued to discuss the book and while they baked the older kids reread the book to the younger ones. Now what mother would not love that!

I highly recommend this book to anyone that has kids or work with kids. There is so much you can do with the lesson it teaches.

I recieved this book free to review (WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group) . I was not compensated by any means the views expresed are my own.
