Not a HUGE acccomplishment but hey, better than nothing. Here is what we ended up getting at our local Rainbow Foods. They have double coupons every Wednesday and Saturday, BUT they only do it for a total of 5 coupons. And trust me they look through ALL your coupons for the smallest amounts, no matter what you hand them first.
Anyway here is what we got;
And here is the breakdown of these items:
Milk-Bites- On Sale $1.99 each: I used a .75 cent off coupon found here. Doubled to $1.25 off for a total of .49 cents a box. (There is $1.00 off coupon on their Facebook page, all you have to do is like them and hit the back button to two. I used those coupons earlier on Wednesday to get 2 free boxes.
Saltine Crackers- Full price at $1.19. I only got these because I plan on making soup for dinner tonight. Seems fitting for the cold and rainy day.
Chicken Breasts- 2 packages at .99 cents per pound. Making them each $2.66. They had a limit of two per person on these. These are fairly large so it is a good deal for us.
On Wednesday I got an even better deal, as Rainbow had a coupon in their flyer for $1.00 off chicken for each Kraft Fresh Take you bought. Well, these were also on sale for $1.99. I had a free coupon for one Fresh Take and a $1.00 of coupon for the other, so I was able to get two packages for about $1.50 each.
Rainbow Pro. Yogurt- On Sale for 25 cents each. They have a limit of 5, so I have been picking up 5 each time we go. For a total of $1.25.
Silk Fruit- $2.59, I had a printable coupon for $1.00 so doubled I was able to get it for .59 cents.
Country Crock- On Sale for $1.99, I had a $1.00 off coupon so doubled this ended up FREE.
As you can see from the receipt I spent a total of $9.33 and saved a total of $19.29.
I think I got most of the other coupons used from Coupons.com BUT for some reason I am having issues using the site, either it keeps telling me to install the coupon program OR it tells me my browser is not supported. Anyone else having these issues?
Anyway, not a big score but I am not complaining either. Every little bit helps around here.
