Be sure to order your ASPCA pet safety pack. In the event of an emergency, the pet rescue window decal alerts rescue personnel that pets are inside your home.
The safety pack also includes an ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center magnet—a great way to keep the ASPCA's toll-free emergency number and website address handy in case your pets get into something they shouldn't!
We have a small zoo within the walls of our home, this is not including the human occupants! We have 4 rats {yes, rats-oddly enough they are the sweetest things in the world, even though I cringed when they first got here}, a 6 year old cat {very moody at times, -she is more of a dog than a cat}, a cockatiel bird {that has more psychological issues than a psychology book has listed-seriously you had to hear what we were told about this bird at the pet-store, nobody in their right mind would have taken it}, 15 minnows my son decided to "save" from a friends fishing trip last summer!-Who knew those buggers lasted that long, a wild painted turtle {found scurrying across the street on one of our walks this past summer-Honestly, I almost kicked it thinking it was a rock!}, a handful of fish in two different tanks {we had to separate them due to bullying issues}, a treefrog {saved from a unpleasant encounter with the neighbors lawnmower about 3 years ago}, and one dog, a mini dachshund that now lives with "Grandma".
Thank goodness, the 30+ baby toads my daughter saved this summer from oncoming traffic were set free. It took every trick in the book to get her to come to agree with my decision that they were better off free in the world. BUT, we had them for almost 3 weeks! I really wish that out town had not made the decision to drain that stupid pond, so that my kids could witness them trying to cross the road and being squished by traffic. This is what led to the capture of over 30 of those little "hoppers".
So, I am most definitely sending away for this freebie. I think that it will set the kids minds at ease knowing that if anything were to happen, the authorities would be aware of what was inside!
All you have to do to receive this freebie is opt-in to receive important email and mail updates from the ASPCA, and we will send you a free ASPCA Pet Safety Pack. Already receive our email and mail updates? Just confirm your name and address to receive your free ASPCA Pet Safety Pack.
Yep, simple as that!
