Synopsis:

“THE CUPCAKE THEORY” is a powerful and encouraging book of wisdom, by Korean-American author, entertainer, consultant, and entrepreneur Clara Lee, that will empower and help women understand how they can best flourish in romantic relationships. Through using a charming analogy of the relationship between the cake and the frosting of cupcakes, the book reinforces concepts of balancing one’s own self-awareness and needs with the desire for fulfilling romantic relationships. “It doesn’t matter how great and lavish your frosting is… because that is not what makes you who you are,” explains Lee, regarding her theory. “What makes you who you are, is you—the cupcake without all the decorations and glitz. Be whole. Be solid. Be beautiful.

I was afforded the opportunity to read The Cupcake Theory in exchange for my thoughts on the book. I never expected to learn anything from this book by looking at its entertaining and cute cover. I was very wrong. I actually was able to relate to the book completely. The Cupcake Theory is a fun way of explaining different types of relationships.

The Cupcake Theory is not a long read, as it took me less than half an hour to devour the book from beginning to end.

This simple, yet detailed and accurate, book will be something you will remember for a long time. Trust me when I say, that you will never think of cupcakes or frosting the same again.

No matter what kind of relationship you are in, have been in, or will be in The Cupcake Theory holds some sound advice. Both young and old can take these lessons to heart and use them to identify their relationship partners, and figure out if they are good or not for your own well-being.
