Our Wolves Den would love to welcome you to the Book Tour Event for A. A. Pencil's novel The Reunion.
I also had the privilege of receiving a copy of this book in order to facilitate a review to share with all of my readers. I truly appreciate the opportunity to do so.
C. Moore Catholic High School's 10-year reunion was organized as many reunions are - to reminisce, to see who had made a success of their lives, and in truth, to gossip on who had not. But this party in the secluded, 1890's mansion once owned by a long dead, paranoid WWII Veteran, was to become anything but typical.

My Reaction to The Reunion:
The thing I noticed from the very first chapter, which focused on introducing and developing the characters, was how quickly I related to this "group". The characters themselves started to quickly become envisioned as people I knew way-back when. This made it much more of an interesting read for me.
I will admit though that even though Remmington was a stern God fearing woman, she made me laugh. As her character was portrayed in such great detail that I could begin naming a few people I know in real life that act and talk just like her.
Throughout this novel you will be taken on a journey of surprises, a good deal of mystery, and some fond memories if you can relate to the characters like I did. I was able to quickly read this in a few nights, but could have easily finished the book in one sitting given the chance. Once the story gets going, you become emersed in it. Seriously, you can see just by the synopsis what kind of history and events that may be possible within its pages. I love that A.A. Pencil was able to creatively and realistically bring the characters to life. This is what draws and impresses me the most as a reader.

A. A. Pencil works part time as a school nurse at an all-boys Catholic school in New York City. As a Lupus survivor, she uses writing as a significant part of her therapy, and you will see influences from classical writers such as Agatha Christie and Edgar Alan Poe in her work. When not working or writing, she enjoys cooking, shopping and walking.
She has sponsored a child in Mexico for over three years with a children's organization. She currently lives in a borough of New York City with her extended family who are her greatest supporters.
