My View: This is a wonderful concise and easy way to break down a plan that you can actually stick too. I am very impressed how much information and lessons were taught in under 160 pages. This book is not only an eight-week plan, it also defines some stumbling blocks you could encounter and holds YOU accountable. If you are not honest with yourself and your beliefs, then it will be difficult to follow through with this plan.
There are in depth questions to be answered, but they are broken down into simple steps that help you narrow down your personal goals. Having only one goal a week keeps me very focused on what I need to be working on. I began reading the book and took it a week at a time {okay so I did read ahead a bit} but realized I needed to slow it down if I was too succeed.
Connie Sokol keeps it down-to-earth and doesn't add any mumbo jumbo that is not needed. She keeps it very real and offers such a wonderful feeling of support as you work through the weeks. You truly feel as if she is right beside you at every step.
I should mention the fact that you get to pick your own reward for succeeding helps too. If you are looking for an uplifting and motivating book to get you headed down the right path I would recommend reading Faithful, Fit, & Fabulous.
