The Baby Bullet has been on my wish-list for over a year. The idea of controlling the ingredients in my child's food is very important. Being a more "seasoned" mother, I am guilty of purchasing pre-made babyfood for my young ones. At the time I thought I was doing the right thing, but never knew that there could be a healthier way to do things. Once I realized you could make your own babyfood and seeing the huge benefits, I gave it a try. The result was that it was very time consuming without the right tools.

The Baby Bullet is a dream product for cutting out the time-consuming fuss. The best thing that I have discovered about Baby Bullet is that they have a wonderful blog, called Puree Living, that I read religiously. It contains all kinds of information not limited to product promotion, but gives recipes, like Cheesy Chicken Casserole and covers other child rearing topics. I may not have my Baby Bullet at this moment, but I am grateful for the informational blog.

Here is one of my favorite recipes: {keep in mind I have to do this without the Baby Bullet}

Lemon Chicken with Vegetables

 

Ingredients

• 1 chicken breast (about 1 cup chopped)
• 1 cup broccoli florets
• 1/2 cup chopped yellow squash
• 1 teaspoon lemon juice
• 1 teaspoon salt-free seasoning blend

Instructions

Place the chicken in a steamer pot over boiling water for 4 minutes.

Add the broccoli and yellow squash and steam an additional 4 minutes, or until the vegetables are fork tender and the chicken is cooked through.

Place all the ingredients in the Baby Bullet and pulse until smooth, adding water from the steamer pot 1 tablespoon at a time as needed to reach desired consistency.
