Okay anytime I see success typed in the title for a recipe I just gotta try it out ... This is for homade spaghettios...Now one of my kids is really particular about what and what will not go into his mouth. So this should be an interesting experiment.

Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Cooking Time: 15 Minutes
Yield: About 4 Servings
Ingredients:
½ Lb. Small Pasta (see note)
6 oz. Tomato Paste
1 Cup Vegetable Stock
1 Tsp Onion Powder
1 Tsp Garlic Powder
2-1/2 Tbsp Agave Nectar or Honey
¼ Cup Nutritional Yeast (optional)
Directions:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Drop in pasta and cook until soft, then drain and set aside. In a saucepan, combine tomato paste, vegetable stock, onion powder, garlic powder, and sweetener. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat and, stirring occasionally, cook for about 5 minutes or until heated through and well-combined. Stir in nutritional yeast, if desired, then combine with cooked pasta in a large bowl. Stir well to combine. Serve.
Note: The pasta type is left up to you, but none of this works without an appropriately spagettio-esque shape.
We will also be trying a new granola recipe sometime this afternoon. I really am getting tired of paying so much for the granola bars in the store... We tried one recipe before and well we didn't let it cool before eating BUT it was really good. This time we are going to try and follow the directions so that we actually get bars out of the pan.
Oatmeal Bars
Grease or butter your 9×13 and turn your oven on to 350°.
6 cups Oats
1 ¼ cups sugar (white or brown)
1 cup flour (all purpose or whole wheat)
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 cup butter, very soft, even a little melty is good
1 teaspoon vanilla
In your large bowl mix all the dry ingredients. Add the butter and vanilla and do your best to get it mixed well. I like to use a wooden spoon for this part. It’s kind of a pain, but it’s worth it.
Dump it into the 9×13 and use your hands or the back of a large spoon to press it into the pan, nice and firm.
Bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool slightly before cutting it into bars. Now leave it alone until it is all the way cool.
