Our Experience:

We were fortunate to have this sent to us by Educational Toys Planet and because we were not expecting it, it really was a fun surprise! The second the kids saw it each wanted a turn. I must say they figured it out quickly and enjoyed playing. I hated telling them that it was time to put it away and to come for dinner.

Once they were all in bed I finally was able to put a finger on it. I really like that it had different subject cards. And the pattern was different (front and back). This gave  the option of 14 different memory games to play. The seven cards all fit in the well constructed slot at the top. Some of the topics include; Numbers, Shapes, Fruits,etc.

Flip to Win Memory Game by Melissa & Doug is made of wood, which really helps in making it not easy to break when little kids begin fighting over it. Which is exactly what happened the next morning. I really like that the elastic cord which hold a the little wooden doors closed is very strong. It would be difficult for little hands to snap those in two pieces.

This toy was fun for all the kids. They did have to learn how to wait and take turns because it is supposed to be a two player game. Each keeping score on a nifty little tally sliders at the bottom of the game. I know that this toy will be a great addition to game cabinet and for throwing in a bag to take in the car.

I was able to take it on a grocery trip recently and let me say this game saved the day. It was so nice to take them into the store and have them not causing a ruckus. I was able to finish the shopping in record time thanks to this game. After seven days of kid testing this game is still one of the kids favorites. It has been pulled out of the game cabinet more than any other game we have. I do plan on purchasing more of these types of games because it has held up so well.
