My View

Zilly's talent is outstanding! This book is a fun one for children as much as for adults. I love any book that can easily involve children in a family activity. The second my kids saw some of the cupcakes, they wanted to start making them right away! Each child picking out their gorey favorites ( I mean what do you expect from my kids - thier motto the grosser the idea the better!)

Two special ideas in the book is the rating system- the recipies are rated in difficulty by skulls. And on some of the pages there are some trivia questions which is interesting as it makes the book even more interactive.

I reviewed an e-book copy and I am hoping to pick up a paper copy as this would be a great addition to any cookbook library. Especially if you have kids around.

One of my favorites was "The Birds" - it made me realize how much this book could be used for things. For example our family has movie night. I think it would be fun if we had "Horror Night" and the kids could spend the afternoon baking cupcakes for the movies. You know make "The Birds" cupcakes for Alfred Hitchcocks movie "The Birds" or The Bride and Groom"  for the movie of Nightmare Before Christmas". How much fun that would be munching away on these delicious cupcakes while watching horror films.

I know I will be keeping an eye out for her name on posible other books that may be made in the future.

I was not compensated by any means for this book review. My view is strictly my own.
