Secrets to a Pain Free Life" By Dr. Ghorbani {Review & Giveaway}

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

In his new book, "Secrets to a Pain Free Life", Dr. Ghorbani offers useful advice for patients and clinicians that can help them navigate through baffling, or in some cases, deceptive claims about pain relief.

I was excited at the opportunity to review this book, especially because I could use it in conjunction with his product Noxicare {a review can be found here}. As stated in the Noxicare product review my husband is the most severe sufferer of pain in the household.

My complaints are minimal compared to the ongoing pain that my husband goes through daily. This book does not focus on Dr. Ghorbani's product, but focuses on the epidemic that is sweeping the world- pain.

 I learned a lot through the reading of this book, Secrets To A Pain Free Life. While there was many things that I already knew, it was balanced with many things that I had not learned through our journey to help alleviate some of my husbands pain. Dr. Ghorbani's book covers everything from minor discomfort to severe chonic pain, my husband is the later.

My husband's future is bleak to put it kindly, he will end up wheelchair bound due to his back injury from a few years ago. He is on borrowed time and forced to work, which makes the timeline day to day. I have been searching for ways to help my husband cope better with his pain. All the doctors we have seen can only prescribe heavy addicting narcotics, until the inevitable happens.

In the book I learned of natural herbs that I can incorporate into our diet that could help. This gives me hope-which is really what I needed. Dr. Ghorbani's book tells you not only about different types of pain, but he gives experience both in his practice and shares real stories from his own childhood. This is what brings this book to a new level, it is not a how-to, it not a do this and that. This book shares with you all kinds of different experiences, and honestly tells you that it may not work.

I would recommend this book to anyone that deals with pain or knows someone who has to live with pain. It is a great road-map full of ideas and information that the "common" person can understand.
