I am just going to give a little background on these two characters. The bigger one was found last summer on the road, he was {at the time} the same size as the smaller. I almost kicked him while walking, I mistook him for a pebble. The smaller of the 2 was found a few weeks ago and since we had no way to transport him-we improvised by drinking a Capri-Sun, using keys to cut the pouch in half, added some water, and put him in.
At first the bigger one was terrified of the little one. He provided entertainment as he tried to escape the little one after being introduced into the tank. My husband informed me that the big one needed feeder fish for his diet. I argued and lost, so we bought feeder fish for big turtle. They are now to big to eat and have become our new pets. The big turtle actually thinks they are his friends.
After a few days both big and little turtle have become very good friends. We are in the process of creating a huge habitat for them in a very large tank, it will have both land and water included! How spoiled they are!
